We make our coulis with farm fresh black currants that are strained through cheese cloth to make a thick and intense juice. We add a little sugar and lemon juice to bring out the best flavors of the black currants.
You can use Morrill Mountain Black Currant Coulis as a sauce to go with sweet and savory foods, in glazes and barbeque sauce, and anywhere you want the flavor of real Vermont black currants. Black Currant Coulis is a favorite mixed with yogurt and as an addition to many drinks.
